Aspire’s Virtual Open House
Welcome to Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre!
While we would love to welcome you in person, this year’s Open House will be held virtually, due to COVID-19 restrictions. Check out some pictures of our centre below!
Through the Re-Imagine Our Centre Project, we were able to make updates to our existing space to accommodate health guidelines, with a focus on safety for all those within our building. Our foyer was updated with plexiglass safety shields and our former waiting room has been transformed into a new meeting room, allowing for small meetings where social distancing is possible. Aspire still greets everyone with a smile, even if it is from behind a mask!
In order to make sure that our staff, kiddos, and families could return to a safe and healthy space this fall, we had to make some additional modifications to our building. We created two new classrooms in addition to our two regular EASE classrooms, ensuring that our EASE program could operate 4 cohorts while keeping class sizes small. Our former gym and a former meeting room were transformed into fully functional classrooms, as seen below.

Our TAC, Diagnostic, and Individualized Services Teams have been hard at work upstairs on the 3rd floor. Below you can see the TAC classroom, and the observation room. The observation room allows parents, therapists, caregivers, and other professionals to observe the classroom in a way that is non-disruptive to the children. All of our assessment rooms are also equipped with attached observation rooms.
Thanks for joining us for our Virtual Open House!
