Aspire Children’s Raffle

Raffle Rules & Regulations

1. Raffle tickets shall not be sold to a person under 18 years of age.
2. Adult Raffle ticket sellers will advise ticket purchasers to not put the name of anyone under the age of 18 on the tickets.
3. Tickets shall be purchased or sold within Alberta only.
4. 5000 is the minimum number of tickets that must be sold before requesting a draw date extension or cancelling the raffle upon AGLC approval.
5. 12,000 Tickets will be printed for the start of the raffle.
6. Tickets are $5 each.
7. Tickets can be purchased with cash, debit, credit card, e-transfer, or by cheque (the cut-off date is June 5, 2023 for receiving cheques)
8. Current Board of Directors, Executive Director, Office Coordinator, Main Administrative Assistant, Community Relations Supervisor and Events Coordinator are unable to purchase tickets. No other restrictions are placed on Aspire members, staff, or their families.
9. The date of the draw will take place on June 17, 2023 at Parkland School, 6016-45 Avenue, Red Deer, AB. This is open to the public. Prize winners will be announced at event, on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the Aspire website.
10. The winning tickets may be drawn by a representative of each of the sponsors or individuals who do not hold tickets with 2 executive board members and at least 3 members of the public present.
11. When a ticket is drawn, the winning ticket will be recorded and then will be returned to the draw.
12. The 3^rd prize, cash of $2500 will be drawn first. Then 2^nd prize Jewelry from Artemis and then finally the grand prize car.
13. No cash alternatives will be awarded for the prizes.
14. The prizes being offered are:
    – 1^st Prize: 2023 Dodge Hornet GT valued at $37,995
    – 2^nd Prize: Elegant, custom-designed pendant, 14 kt palladium white gold, 20″ chain, ammolite pendant set with diamonds and sapphires valued at $7,095.
    – 3^rd Prize: One cash prize of $2500
15. All Prizes are New
16. Cash and jewellery prizes must be picked up at Aspire or shipping to be paid for by winner.
17. Procedure if the winner cannot be located or does not come forward to claim their prize:
    – Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre will make every reasonable attempt to contact the winner. We will hold the prize at Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre for one year from date of draw, at which point we will contact AGLC and request the prize be donated back to Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre.
18. Tickets are non-refundable.
19. In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre shall award the prize to only the first person named on the ticket. Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
20. The winner of the vehicle is responsible to pick it up at Southside Dodge Chrysler Jeep & RV Centre in Red Deer, Alberta. No additional charges will be incurred by the winner. Pick up of the vehicle is estimated for June 21, 2023.
