Children's Raffle Rules & Regulations

  1. Purchasers must reside or be in Alberta and be 18 years old at the time of purchase.
  2. Tickets: 67,949 tickets printed with 149 single tickets for $10, 1000 4-pack tickets (4000 total) with a price of $20, 490 20-pack tickets (9800 total) with a price of $50, and 540 100-pack (54,000 total) tickets for $100.
  3. Tickets can be purchased with cash, debit, credit card, or e-transfer.
  4. A draw date extension or a cancellation will only be requested if a breakeven point is reached (i.e., if enough tickets are sold to cover prize costs and expenses) upon AGLC approval.
  5. The current Board of Directors, Executive Director, Office Coordinator, Main Administrative Assistant, Donor and Community Relations Supervisor, and Events Coordinator are unable to purchase tickets. No other restrictions are placed on Aspire members, staff, or their families.
  6. The date of the draw is June 1st, 2024, at 6016 45 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 3M4, and is open to the public. Prize winners will be announced at the event, on Facebook, and on the Aspire Website.
  7. The winning tickets may be drawn by a representative of each of the sponsors or individuals who do not hold tickets with 2 executive board members and at least 3 members of the public present.
  8. When a ticket is drawn, the winning ticket will be recorded and then will be returned to the draw.
  9. The 3rd prize, cash of $2500 will be drawn first. Then 2nd prize Jewelry from Artemis and then finally the grand prize vehicle.
  10. No cash alternatives will be awarded for the prizes.
  11. The prizes being offered are: 1st Prize – 2024 Dodge Hornet GT valued at $41,440; 2nd Prize – Custom Diamond Ring valued at $7,050; 3rd Prize – One cash prize of $2,500
  12. All prizes are new.
  13. Cash and jewelry prizes must be picked up at Aspire or shipping is to be paid for by the winner.
  14. Procedure if the winner cannot be located or does not come forward to claim their prize: Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre will make every reasonable attempt to contact the winner; we will hold the prize at Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre for 90 days from the date of the draw, at which point we will contact AGLC and request the prize be donated back to Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre.
  15. Tickets are non-refundable.
  16. The winner of the Vehicle is responsible for picking it up at Southside Dodge Chrysler Jeep & RV Centre in Red Deer, Alberta. No additional charges will be incurred by the winner.
  17. In the event of a power failure, the draw will take place immediately upon restoration of power.
  18. If more than one name is written on a winning ticket stub, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals named on the ticket stub. Neither the licensed charitable organization nor AGLC is responsible for any disputes among the individuals whose names are written on the ticket stub.

50/50 Raffle Rules & Regulations

  1. Tickets can be purchased online through the Rafflebox website, via phoning Aspire, or in person at the Aspire office. Purchases can be made with cash, debit, credit card, or e-transfer. Credit cards used for payment must have an Alberta address.
  1. A draw date extension or cancellation will only be requested if a breakeven point is reached (i.e., if enough tickets are sold to cover prize costs and expenses) upon AGLC approval.
  1. The winner will receive 50% of the total ticket sales.
  1. Current Board of Directors, Executive Director, Office Coordinator, Main Administrative Assistant, Donor & Community Relations Supervisor, and Events Coordinator are unable to purchase tickets. No other restrictions are placed on Aspire members, staff, or their families.
  1. The date of the draw is June 1, 2024, at 6016 45 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 3M4 and is open to the public. Prize winners will be announced at the event, on Facebook, and on the Aspire website.
  1. The winning tickets may be drawn by a representative of each of the sponsors or individuals who do not hold tickets with 2 executive board members and at least 3 members of the public present.
  1. All tickets will be emailed to the purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle System (ERS) (Rafflebox.) A physical ticket will not be mailed.
  1. The winner will be determined by a random draw using an Alberta Gaming Liquor Commission (AGLC) registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).
  1. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 30 days if the prize goes unclaimed.
  1. Draw results will appear under the “Winners” tab found on Rafflebox’s main raffle page. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to having your name and the winning number published.
  1. In the even the winning ticket has more than one name on it, only the first person named on the ticket will be awarded the prize. Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
  1. The 50/50 prize will be paid by cheque or cash to the winner and ID must be presented to claim all prizes.
  1. Tickets are non-refundable. No cash alternatives are available.
