If you suspect your child has special needs and you are looking for answers, then this service may be right for you.

Our professionals will take care to understand your concerns and assess your child’s abilities to uncover what might be happening for your child.

Within two half-days or one full day, we pull together all the information to clarify what is happening for your child.

  • We offer the only diagnostic service in Central Alberta with a full team of qualified therapists
  • We work with you to understand your child’s needs
  • Our professionals will offer suggestions for your child’s future
  • We will share our results at the end of the second day that will answer the questions you had about your child
  • A report outlining your child’s abilities, needs and diagnosis will be forwarded after the clinic.

Three Clinic Options

Diagnostic Clinic #1

$1,300
  • Partially funded by Disability Services – Central Region
  • Clinic runs for 2 half-days
  • 3 therapists including a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech-Language Pathologist
  • 40 clinics are available per year
  • For families who live in the Central Alberta area
  • Fee Assistance is available for this service

Diagnostic Clinic #2

$2,400
  • Full fee clinic
  • Two half-days or one full day clinic
  • 2 therapists including a Psychologist AND an Occupational Therapist OR a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Available to all families in Canada

Diagnostic Clinic #3

$2,800
  • Full fee clinic
  • Two half-day or one full day clinic
  • 3 therapists including a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Available to all families in Canada

For children who:

  • Are 18 months to 17 years old
  • Partially funded clinics require that families live in Central Alberta Disabilities Service Region and are only available for children 18 months to 12 years old (Diagnostic Clinic #1)

Attendees:

  • A parent or a primary caregiver attends the clinic with your child each day

Program hours:

  • The clinic runs for two, half-days (afternoon or morning) or 1 full day
  • Typically either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday for half-day clinics
  • Morning clinics are booked from 9:00am to 12:00pm
  • Afternoon clinics are booked from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
  • Full day clinics are booked from 9:00am to 4:00pm

  • Psychologist
  • Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Occupational Therapist

Application Fee:

  • An application fee is required when registering for any program offered at Aspire
  • Once your application and payment are received you will be placed on our waitlist for services
  • Fee: $50.00

An application fee is required when registering for any program offered at Aspire. Once your application and payment are received you will be placed on our waitlist for services. Your application fee can be paid in person, over the phone, or by e-transfer. Application fees paid by e-transfer can be sent to [email protected] Please ensure that you provide us with your name, child's name, and the reason for the e-transfer in the notes section of your e-transfer.
