Psychologists assist when children and youth are experiencing learning concerns. This may include specific areas of difficulty such as writing, reading or math. For others, this may include difficulties with problem solving, memory or overall learning..
To understand your child, our psychologist will spend time observing your child, gathering information from you, and completing standardized assessments. Our psychologist and you will then have an opportunity to review the results together, answering your questions and explaining the learning strengths and areas for growth for your child. For some children, this may include a diagnosis that best explains their learning style. Following the clinic, you will be provided with a written assessment report that provides the results, as well as strategies and referrals as appropriate.
