Aurora is an energetic, mischievous, cheeky, loving and absolutely wonderful little girl…..who just happens to have Down Syndrome.
Aurora is an energetic, mischievous, cheeky, loving and absolutely wonderful little girl…..who just happens to have Down Syndrome. Not that she lets that little extra chromosome slow her down any! She is just like any other little girl and does almost everything her twin sister does. She loves music, dancing, drawing, cooking and playing with her siblings. She takes great care of her baby brother! She always has a big smile and huge hugs for everyone and never fails to charm people no matter where we go!
We didn’t know about Aurora having Down Syndrome until after she was born, as we declined testing. So it was a surprise, but what a wonderful surprise she is!! She can make you smile when you’re in the worst mood and is endlessly brightening any room she walks into. We are so extremely proud of Aurora and all she has accomplished! She truly is amazing.
Aspire is definitely helping Aurora reach her full potential. She adores going to school every day as she is in the EASE program, and loves all the staff. She has come leaps and bounds since starting school and we couldn’t ask for more from Aspire. They always remember that our children are just that, children, not a diagnosis, that they are more alike than different. Thank you Aspire!
